A Possible Alliance Between Sanlorenzo and Nautor Swan

Two leading yacht builders, Sanlorenzo and Nautor Swan, have entered into an exclusivity period to explore possible joint strategic opportunities. The Memorandum of Understanding, signed by the Nautor Swan Group, owned by Sawa, and the Sanlorenzo Group, marks the beginning of a potential collaboration between the two brands.

Sanlorenzo’s Chairman and CEO, Massimo Perotti, said: "this transaction, if carried out, would enable Sanlorenzo to expand its reach in the high-end yachting industry, while respecting Swan’s long-standing expertise and experience, which give Sanlorenzo a unique heritage. The merger of these brands within the same group would result in a unique Maison of motor and sail yachts at the top of the nautical market”.

Nautor Swan’s Chairman, Leonardo Ferragamo, added: “Swan has a legacy of unparalleled product excellence in the high-end sailing yachting industry. A strategic partnership with Sanlorenzo Group would provide several opportunities to advance on this virtuous path with joint investments in innovative technologies, in sustainability, and in a wider service network for our customers worldwide.
